Hi, I've been uploading my videos to my Windows PC from my Iphone 7 Plus and they won't play on media player, quicktime or real player. I have updated all the software on the phone and the PC but I just get error messages saying they can't be played or the file isn't supported. Any suggestions please? Thanks

Managing and watching videos that's synced from an iPhone to a computer is important and I'll be happy to help.
Excellent job by making sure that both the iPhone and the PC are updated with the latest software updates. There are additional updates available for your PC. I recommend to download these two updates that is offered directly by Microsoft:
From there, test and see if you can watch your videos without any issue.

Hi, thanks for responding. I have downloaded both files but this has not made any difference. I really don't know what to do now. I'm still getting error messages in every player that basically says the file won't open. :-(

From the error message you described in your original post, I suggest following the steps outlined in this helpful article by Microsoft: "Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported. (Error=80040265)" error message when you try to play a media file in Windows Media Player
