I do not recommend the sport loop for swimmers. I bought an Apple Watch 4 with a sport loop 11 months ago. I was thrilled that I could swim with it. I am not a fast swimmer but I do swim about 30 minutes a day. I rinsed the band carefully each day. The band has now failed. It is so stretched that I can no longer use it and the velcro attachments are not attaching well. I called Apple and was told that it was "normal wear and tear." They would happily sell me another one for $49. I declined.
