Iphone 4 ship date of August 5th..

Hi guys, I still got NYS.
I guess that if I wont see any changes by tomorrow night I'll have to cancel my order. I'm @ London until Aug 7 and I'm afraid it will not be there in time for me to pick it up.

Mine just arrived at my house! Too bad I am at work and won't get to use it until tonight...

I guess in terms of travel this is good? As the later it ships it means you will be at home and not London. Just leave the order and hope it doesnt ship until Monday then you will not recieve it by 7th?

I'm not from the UK, I'm visiting London between Aug 1-7. So if I wont get it during this week it will be useless...
I order it considering 3 weeks shipment, I was surprised to learn about the additional delivery week. So if my order status wont change I'll have to cancel.

Ok I just thought from your status. I guess what you can do is wait until noon tomorrow as delivery takes 7 days or so. If you recieve it tomorrow then its good, you may wish to cut it fine and wait until saturday. That would mean exact week until 7th.

I would definately advise to wait until tomorrow. Saturday if you feel lucky.

Ugh so frustrating! Call me impatient, but my phone has been sitting in the black hole of Lantau Island since 9:00AM my time... YESTERDAY! (it's 12:00 PM currently). I was surprised it shipped out early, being that it wasn't supposed to ship until August 4th. Funny thing is I had high hopes of getting it before the weekend since I received my case within 3 days.

I took your advice and called apple immeadeately to see what the delay was. Nobody could tell me what the problem was at apple or at&t. So finally the apple rep called my local store and told them to make sure that I got one. So long story short, my online order got cancelled, but I was able to go pick one up in store today. So I think I got it probably 5-7 days before I otherwise would have, so it all worked out.

same thing with my phone. It might be in transit and just be a problem with FedEx not updating properly. I'm starting to think it will get to me Monday.

I'm on the phone with Apple...

OK, just got off the phone with Apple sales support, they advice to keep the order alive and that it's possible I'll get a ship notice during the weekend, if that will happen they believe I'll get it before Aug 7.
They stated I can cancel it if it's ships too late and the carrier will return it to Apple, not cost for me.
I hope to get some good news soon...

Update!! As of 8:50 this morning PST, my phone is STILL ***** sitting in Hong Kong. I'm guessing I'm just gonna have to hop on a plane and take myself a little trip over the pond, bust down the door to the fedex warehouse, and show them how to put a ***** box on an airplane.

Haha, now that I'm sane again, what could seriously be causing this delay? I mean 3 scans *so far* at the Hong Kong facility with no movement is kind of starting to worry me into making some phone calls.

Don't want to feel like I'm spamming the forums because I posted in the other thread but according to Fedex International iphone shipments are flying out of Hong Kong late tonight - Aug 3rd shipments are supposed to be on the flight.

I got an email to pick up my reserved Iphone 4 from an Apple store at London, I got until Saturday today to pick it up and I'll arrive to London only on Monday....
I tried to call the store and ask them to hold it for me until Monday, even offered to pay for it over the phone, but they wont do it.
On the other hand my Aug 4 shipped order is still Not Yet Shipped... I have the feeling I'll be back empty handed.

*Anyone has any ideas how I can play this hand???*
