How can I change my child's phone number in Family Sharing?

Have you tried to change the number on their Apple ID? After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime.

His number is correct on his Apple ID on his phone. It doesn't show up on my devices tho'

It is not showing at all. The only information attached to his Apple ID is his name and e-mail. I would like to add his phone number. TY
