Using the Apple Watch as an Amputee

Hiya, I was just wondering if you are someone who is an amputee (i’m a lower left arm amputee) can you still use the apple watch? Will it be able to sense my arm (as it’s not a finger of course, it sometimes touches other things when I use it on my phone). Can you still type? I was just wondering as I was considering getting the Series 5. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Yes you can still use the apple watch and here is a pic of one of the ways of doing that;

And here is the an armband in close up;

And here is another favoured by medical staff not allowed to wear anything on the arms and wrists;
