How to determine serial number of my iPhone if I cannot access my iPhone at all because it is locked up?

All is well now. A local fix it shop showed me how to reset these new phones. This is different from the last cell phone I had. Thank you for your reply.
Hi everyone, my cell is locked up and thus I can't chat with apple support because it first requires I provide the serial number which I cannot access. Help!!
