iTunes not authorized

Getting this notification when trying to download past music. Just bought this MacBook Air today. In the settings everything says it’s authorized though.

itunes won't accept that my computer is authorized to play some purchased tracks like 15 of 45 songs i bought with a gift card wont play or download to an mp3 player. it says computer isn't authorized. It is. when i do the prompted apple id log in, there's no effect. it still says i'm not authorized to play songs. this happened before, but i don't remember how i solved it.

Itunes computer authorization issue I just downloaded some music from the itunes store to my itunes. When i tried to play the music i just purchased i got a prompt that said "this computer is not authorized to play this....authorize this computer"...this computer is authorized to play music i download from it tunes....ive got over 13,000 tracks in my itunes and it plays all the rest of them just fine. So, i went through the protocols to authorize this computer again...completed the task...it confirmed this computer had already been authorized. But, when i got to play the music i just purchased, i get the same prompt saying this computer is not authorized. Anybody had this same problem? Any solutions?

If you've gone through Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases - Apple Support and it's still not working for you, try a reboot. You'll also want to sort out that Apple ID verification message shown.
