Free trial of Apple TV

I bought my new Mac a month ago but when I opened the Apple TV app today I only received a 7days trial instead of a free one-year trial. How can I get the latter?

If you qualify, and if you did as described in the guide, and you still do not get to see the year offer, then contact Apple Support. They can assist in getting you the service, if needed using activation codes.
