Can you use your iPad Pro mic and camera while in sidecar mode?

I have a Mac Mini and an iPad Pro and have been using the iPad as a sidecar. It's all working fine except the mini doesn't seem to be able to make use of the camera, microphone and speakers on the iPad.

Wile not exactly a deal breaker I it seems like the sort of feature which would be really handy in this configuration as the mini has none of those features and buying additional equipment seems a bit silly when I have everything available on the iPad.
