I blocked someone and they’re still able to text me

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you are having an issue with someone not being blocked as expected, and I'd like to do what I can to help.

Is the number the message comes from shown exactly as the number which was blocked? If it comes through as a private number, that can't be blocked.

Is your iPhone up to date with iOS 13.4.1? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Also check for a carrier update by following these steps: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad

If the exact number is blocked, and you're all up to date, but if the messages or calls still come through, do you have any call filtering apps? If so, uninstall and restart your iPhone. See if that resolves your issue. If so, contact the app developer to let them know. How to contact an app developer

Are the messages coming in with the Messages app? If it's a third-party app, then you'll want to contact that app developer also.
