Ive been trying to update my phones software via WiFi connection when I can manually but it is refusing to allow me to do so. It keeps starting to update then asks me to retry again or remind me later. I also don’t have computer or WiFi access available in my home for use either at all and with the pandemic situation as it is, I’m barely able to get an wifi connection unless I’m out in public at my job(in a grocery store like I said with no computer access to speak of, just a public WiFi connection). Any tips/tricks/help? Am getting desperate because I can barely use my service that I did pay good money for over not being able to update the software.

Your signature says you have iPhone 6. If that is correct, you can't update to iOS 13 at all. Go to Settings > General > About and write back what it says the model is.

Without a strong Wifi connection, or access to a computer (of course I've heard of Covid 19), you may well have to wait until you're in a different situation.

iPhone 6s can update to the current iOS. If you haven't updated in a long time, meaning you've missed a number of over the air updates, the simplest way to update would be to use your home computer and do the update using iTunes.

Thank you for you extraordinarily helpful reply. As I said before, I unfortunately do not have access to a home computer, and am also having difficulties obtaining public access to any computer. Have you heard about Covid-19? Any other suggestions or replies from yourself or others is welcome. Thanks and stay safe.

model name is iPhone 6s model number is MKT82LL/A, so I guess I can’t update my phone at all. What would you recommend? Thank you for any help you have
