Airpods not connecting

My airpods are not connecting to any iphone, they're not even in "my devices" anymore. When I open the case the light is flashing green but when I press the back button, the it's a sold white color. They used to work just fine but one day they just stopped working and this started happening. I've tried every single step I've seen, but no luck.
