Can my apple TV be plugged into my Humax PVR 9300T to play through my old tv?

As above. The tv is an old Bang and Olsen without an hdmi socket but the PVR does have one. So I just wondered can the Apple TV be linked by hdmi to the PVR and then link up with the tv?

Apple TV HD, tvOS 12

The Apple TV requires a screen with HDMI input. So, no, that isn’t possible.

Commercial content on Apple TV (or any streaming device) is not compatible with conversion to analog signal, because of HDCP protection over HDMI.

(Additionally, the HDMI port on the tuner-recorder set-top box would be directional, i.e. HDMI-out, not HDMI-in.)
