iPhone 8 Plus stuck on restore mode and force restart is not working

I have an iphone 8 plus that suddenly went to restore mode. I have been reading a lot on how to force restart. But it's not working. even the DFU mode is not working. When I plug in the iPhone to my macbook it says that I need to do software update. I do software update and restore so it downloads the latest firmware but when it's about to get finished a message pops up and says

I have tried "Update and restore" for about 10 times and my iphone can't get pass the restore mode

need help.

Try downloading the IPSW separately online. After that save the IPSW on the desktop for easy access, put your iPhone in DFU mode and hold the option key (Mac) or the shift key (Windows) and at the same time keep holding and click Restore iPhone. A explorer/Finder window should show up, navigate to the desktop or wherever you saved the file, click it and select open.

see if that works.
