iPad Pro scrolling jitters!

Is Apple doing anything to fix this problem or are they in denial. I can hardly read the news on my one year old iPad. Sometimes when I scroll it will start shivering like a wet dog in a snow storm. Often when it starts it will just keep shaking, I can take my hands away from the touch screen and it will continue to shake so bad it is unreadable.

I have tried most or all of the unlikely fixes for this problem. Nothing works. I have seen other blame the websites being viewed. If that is the problem there is a growing list of websites with incompetent developers! I won’t be buying another Apple product to fix the problem!

It is been reported by a lot of users that the FOX news Website and the CNN news Website are all problematic on the Safari Web browser and/or iPadOS.

Have you tried using another third party Web browwer instead of iOS Safari to see if this is jittery scrolling issue goes away in another Web browser?

It’s likely a separate issue, but unwanted pop-up Ads and other content can be effectively suppressed with use of one of the better Content/Ad-blockers products.

Take a look at 1Blocker for Safari - it is well regarded and secure:

No, I have not tried another browser. I guess that is next. I can’t say it is surprising that these ad laden sites with drop down banners and pop up ads are problematic.

With which model of iPad are you having difficulty? What version of iOS/iPadOS is installed? Does you problem affect a specific App, or all Apps installed on the iPad?

I have an iPad 11 Pro. It has the very latest iOS, I always keep it updated. However, the problem has been therm for quite a few of the most recent updates. If I had to put a time frame on this a I would say it has been going on for six to nine months. It only affects Safari, and not every website that I visit. It seems to be news sites, the worst is Fox, and probably to a lesser degree CNN. Also, it seems worse when working in a landscape orientation. I need to pay more attention to time of day, because there are times when it is worse.
