SOCKS proxy repeated turns on automatically. i ran EtreCheck and received a report that i need help with interpreting. can someone offer that help

Proxies are typically used as a Virtual Private Network gateway. These are typically used to access machines remotely through a secure tunnel, and configured in Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Network -> Connection port selected, and hit the Advanced button. If you don't need a proxy, remove and/or turn it off.
I have done what you suggest, but the SOCKDS proxy automatically turns back on. as i mentioned, i ran EtreCheck, as suggested by another post, and received a report that i do not understand. is that something you can help me with?
