iPhone SIM Card Transfer

Hi All,

I currently have the original iPhone SE (from 2016). It has been experiencing software problems as of late, attempting to turn on, getting stuck on the white screen with the apple logo, then shutting off. I'm looking at purchasing the new SE revealed earlier this week. Since both iPhones utilize the nano SIM card size, I should have no problem simply transferring my old SIM to a new SE, correct? I haven't messed with my service provider at all even though my current phone hasn't been working, so other than losing the data residing on my old phone, I'd imagine this could (should?) be a smooth transition.

Thanks for your time and your thoughts.

Thankfully I somehow got my old SE to function again, so I didn't end up purchasing the newer SE model. I can't find any clear information regarding whether or not the SIM card will transfer; however, both the older SE model and the newer model utilize the nano (not micro, as mentioned in those specs you referred to) SIM card size, so I'd assume it is able to transfer. Good luck if you're going through with the purchase!
