I was wondering since the new iPhone SE was coming

I was wondering since the new iPhone SE was coming. Is there any possible way I could give my iPhone SE I have already for the new one because I don’t see why you make a new iPhone of an iPhone that has already been created but a bit better and not be allowed to trade it for the new one instead since I have already purchased it.

In the U.S., if you had an original iPhone SE in perfect condition, you could receive US$30 for it in trade.
