I recently mailed in my iPhone X for a battery replacement, as that’s the only way these days to get service. I was wondering, with the recent closures and virus lockdowns, what is a realistic turnaround time for devices going in for Apple service? Has anyone had recent experience in the past month or so that can share? Their customer service said 3-5 business days so I’m wondering if that is stuff right now. Anyone that can chime in, please do. Thanks!

If you get it in 3 - 5 days that will be pretty good considering the shipping issues that are ongoing. The only person I know who has sent one in for a screen replacement it took her 2 weeks.
That was about 10 days ago, perhaps for a battery replacement it will be faster. Shipping times are somewhat haphazard right now.
That isn’t reassuring. How long ago was that? I got the box they sent in one day and they got my phone delivered to them in one day, so I don’t feel there is a shipping issue.
Well I hope it isn’t that long, as it’s my primary phone and kind of need it. But with everything going on, there are more important things to worry about. Thanks for your response.
