Unless you have Jailbroken your device, you have nothing to be concerned about.


Install an Adblocker for the browser & disable pop-ups in the browser settings. This will stop most of the false advertising that tries to trick unwary users into buying something they do not need or paying for something that will never arrive.

If you got a popup telling you that your device has a virus then that is a malicious ad trying to trick you into giving them information or paying to fix a problem that doesn’t exist.


Just exit out and don’t worry about it. As of now there is no known virus that can infect an iPad (unless someone had COVID-19 and coughs on it, and even that can be dealt with by wiping the device down with an disinfecting wipe)
