Hi, my apple watch was off for about 3 weeks and does not want to switch on, It is making sounds when it is charging, but when I press both buttons and hold it in, nothing happens, screen stays blank

Has there been any damage to the watch? Possibly been dropped or been in contact with water?
My Apple Watch once did the same thing and it had been in contact with water and corroded the screen flex cables.
You might need someone to look at it. Unfortunately now no Apple Stores are open for you to go to but you can always talk to someone online. Is the watch still under warranty?

I assume you've tried pressing and holding the Digital Crown alone as well. Not sure if you've tried this but try charging it directly from a power adapter to the wall vs a computer or battery backup device. You can also try a different magnetic charger if you have one. Leave it on the charger for 2h. See if that helps. Good luck!
