Apple Watch Awards - HELP

Hey, long story short. I lost all my health data last weekend and set my watch up as new, my backup didn’t have my health data so I lost everything.

All good, there’s nothing else to do but exercise now.

Question about new move record and new exercise record.

Today I burnt 1550 calories, my best was 1501. No award. Does this one have to be achieved whilst using the Activity eg Indoor walk? Or can it be done in every day movement.

Today I did 192 minutes. Previous best was 178.

Im gathering that cause I set my watch as new that I’m in the 10 day period?

Once this is over would I need to beat my new records or the old ones?

Here is how one person did it and it is an apple recommended post, the op does point out that it may or may not work for you.

Resetting Awards section in Activity app … - Apple Community

It does sound quite risky I know basically your factory resetting your phone and unpairing and re-pairing the watch to clear everything out the downside is that you will have to setup the phone again from scratch.Maybe it might be better to try and beat those figures in the awards section.

Ah ok, so basically after the first 10 days of it being ‘new’ I need to beat those targets.

It’s confusing cause my awards are still achieved but the actual data is missing.

My move record that shows is 1501, but actual says 1012 when I open it.

And exercise is showing 178, but it says 144.

Yes this is very confusing although you lost most of your data,it seems you didn't lose all your awards.

The award that says 1501 is obviously from some time ago and when you tap on it it says 1012 which was this month so my guess is that to change that 1501 you would have to beat it,same with the exercise award.

You could always erase everything and start again from scratch, that would get rid of any confusion and you will get the pleasure of winning the awards all over again.

Yeah that 1501 is actually the 1012. It reads as 1012 when you click it but I actually burnt 1501.

I read somewhere that your awards aren’t able to be deleted. Is that not true?

I guess as long as I know that if I burn 1600 calories next week that I’ll get a new move record. Was hard enough today lol.

Hey so overnight it's updated

Move Record now says "You earnt this award... 1628 calories burnt on 10/4/20

Exercise record says "You earnt this award ....192 minutes burnt on 22/9/19

So the numbers are yesterday's and the dates are the old records before losing data.

If you lost all your data then the watch doesn't know what your previous best figures were so the data you're recording now becomes the new record target that you have to beat.

Yes you can remove everything,it will be as though you just bought the watch.
