I pay every month for additional space in iCloud and I don’t know how I can use it

Iv got question about My iCloud. I pay every month 0.79£ for additional space in iCloud and I don’t know how I can use it. Unfortunately I lost almost all of my pics from last 9months because I used full memory in my iPhone.
