My old ipad 1
i have 1 old ipad my friend give me as a present and he forgot the password so how to fix it..so i want to sign out to reset like a new one

Plug your iPad 1 into your computer, and since the earliest iOS on this thing is 3.2.2, you may need to update to 5.1.1 in order to work with iTunes, which erased all data on my iPad when updating anyway. So if prompted click Update iPad (only if it will erase all data). If not click Restore iPad.
