Are your earpods Apple or another manufacturer?

If they are a different manufacturers device, you need to check with the manufacturer to determine how to put them in pairing mode.

EarPods are the wired headphones provided with the iPhone. All you have to do is plug them into the lightning port of the iPhone. There is no setup required. If they are AirPods, lobsterghost1 has provided the link with all of the instructions you need to set them up and use them.
