Do I have a T2 Security Chip??

Hello all, I am having some problems with an older Macbook Pro laptop, which I am thinking of trading for a newer device, and have a question....

First off, I need to make some changes to the newer laptop device, and want to check if the new Mac has the T2 security chip installed or not. - Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Retina 4 Thunderbolts.

I only ask because this is a newer laptop that I am looking into purchasing, but it comes with Catalina installed, and I use a number of older 32bit apps, that are out of development, which I kind of need. As such, I will probably need to switch it back to Mojave, because of Catalina's stance on being anti-32bit.

Downgrading the MacOS is complex somewhat, and involves two different strategies to complete. One if it has the T2 chip, and one if it does not. I am currently using an older, as I stated, 2013 Macbook Pro, which I have had for some time, and need to upgrade to a newer machine, but do not want to lose everything I have because of the switch.

Is the T2 chip installed on 2016 machines, or is that something later than that year??

How can I check if it has a T2 chip if Apple > System Information shows the following when I click on Controller - 'This computer doesn’t contain any Controller devices.', and I cannot see anything that says iBridge in the right side listings??

Thanks in advance!!

The MacBook Pro 2018 and later have the T2, the 2016 does not. See: About the Apple T2 Security Chip - Apple Support
