Apple Watch Charger

I just received a new Apple Watch Series 5. My previous watch was the original Series 1. Can I use the old battery charger from my Series 1 to charge my new watch? I have a couple of the old chargers that I take on vacation and leave at work. I just want to make sure it's okay to still use the old chargers for my new watch. Thanks!
