IPad says ‘FaceTime server does not recognise’

FaceTime has stopped working on iPad Air .

Still running IOS 10.2.

Connected to WiFi, internet works fine & FaceTime works on iPhone over same WiFi connection.

Just says ‘ FaceTime Server does not recognise this appliance’

Any ideas please ?
