I forgot answers to my security questions and my ipad is locked

I was able to reset password for my apple ID, but I am unable to reset my security questions as I do not remember the answers and my ipad is not logged in.


Please help

See If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201485

 

If you are not able to answer these questions satisfactorily, see

  

Security and your Apple ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201303says “without proof of your identity via security questions and other carefully selected criteria, Apple Support can't help you reset a password or perform any other actions on your account.”

 

So, given that you can't deal satisfactorily with your security questions, we won't be able to help you with your problem unless you have an extenuating circumstance (e.g., you have the receipt for the purchase of the pertinent device with its serial number on it or you have a court order instructing Apple to assist in the provision of access to a decedent’s information from the deceased person's accounts). If you have an extenuating circumstance, even one not mentioned above, then use the support options below:

If you are being told there isn't enough information to reset them, contact Apple ID Support.


If you don't know the answers, if the steps in the article below don’t work, contact Apple ID Support, although I’m not sure they will be able to help.
