High Sierra vs Mojave

I am running high Sierra with many apps and plugins, Photoshop and FCPX plus over hundred apps many on 32bit. Catalina out of the question. I read that online that there is not much change except some people noticed that Mojave runs slower and beach ball spinning using some apps. I need an opinion should I or should I not update or stay on High Sierra? I installed Mojave on a clone drive, and it was running very slow. It did not give me the true picture, because I know that external drives always run slower no mater what OS it is.

But to have a clone drive and test Mojave on a main drive is a hustle to go back to High Sierra. Therefore I came to the community to hear what the end user have to say about this.

Thanks.

Mojave is a warm and friendly place.

Go for it. You can still install Mojave.
