Credit card problems

I found one of my old credit cards, And I used it, but when I tried to put an Apple card on my balance for the App Store it would not allow me to remove the old credit card and so I am unable to make the purchase. Help

Go here - Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods - Apple Support

& here - If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
