If you have forgotten the passcode, the only way to get back into the iPad is to restore it, to wipe all content. If you have a backup of the content, then you can restore that backup. If you don't have a backup then you cannot restore the content. Do you have the device setup for iCloud backups? If so, the plug it into power connected to your wi-fi and wait until it has backed up. It would be about 24 hours since the last backup. If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
