My Macbook Air black screen. Please help

My Macbook Air starts up with a black screen. The startup noise is there and when i press enter on what usually would be the login screen it gives the error sound effect. Also the apple logo isn't lit up. It was perfectly fine minuets ago. I have no idea what's going on or how to fix it. Thank you.
