how do you stop the open app icons from showing up on bottom right of doc? Just did clean install of high seirra and don't remember those icons ever showing up before? Looked in settings and couldn't find anything to turn them off.

when i was unticking the bottom button in DOC and nothing was happening. i just closed out apps and restarted and preview went away.

Visit System Preferences : Dock : [ ] Show recent applications in Dock.
