Blocked emails on my phone still being delivered to inbox

I’ve blocked all these spam emails in the past(then flagged them and moved them to junk), yet they continue to be delivered to my inbox. If it’s blocked why is it still being delivered? How do I stop these unwanted emails on my phone?

Thanks for the post. It's important to be able to manage your email, and I'm happy to see how I can help. I understand you've blocked some senders but continue receiving spam mail, and you've tried marking them as junk as well.


Marking emails as junk is a good approach for this type of behavior. When it comes to spam mail, the messages will often come from different addresses, so blocking a specific address isn't always the most effective method. However, it might be helpful to tap Settings > Mail > Blocked Sender Options. Do you have "Move to Trash" selected here? If not, give that a try.


To rule out issues on the email service provider end, you might also try opening a web browser on a computer and then signing into your email account there. Do you see these same spam messages in your Inbox there? Knowing this would help to narrow things down.
