Hey there Anthony Strong,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’d like to choose a different camera for FaceTime on your Mac. I’ll be happy to help.

If your Mac is connected to multiple cameras, you should be able to choose which one to use for your FaceTime audio and video calls. To do this, open the FaceTime app on your Mac, and click on the Video menu to choose a specific camera, microphone, or output device to use. This article has more info:

Choose a camera or microphone for FaceTime calls on Mac

If you have any issues, the following steps may help:

  • Make sure the USB or USB-C cable is properly connected to your camera and the computer.
  • Run First Aid on Macintosh HD - Repair a storage device in Disk Utility on Mac
  • Check your camera to make sure it’s turned on and set to the correct mode

Regards.
