Safari keeps logging me out

I’m the latest iOS, and I’ve recently came into this problem. When I leave Safari and come back, any website I logged into will be logged out. What’s causing this?

I’ve had this iPad since December 2016. Is it nearing the end of its life?

iPad mini 4, iPadOS 13

I was actually using private mode, never mind ^^ couldn’t tell because of dark mode

Hello,

Many websites are setup to automatically log a user out after a certain time period.
