I have an old macbook and want to configure it to autostart after a power outage. I have tried the alt/apple/o/f combination and that does not access the bios. How can I access bios at startup?

There is energy setting commonly used to choose that as automatic function;

it will restart after power outage. ~ The macOS & OS X has this, in Sys. Prefs.

(a simple checkbox, in panel ~ at least from Tiger 0.4.11 or earlier)
