Strictly speaking you CAN use the “Find My” built in feature to track the phones location nefariously but only if you have access the the customers Apple ID AND PASSWORD . If so you could log into icloud from any web browser with the ID and of course the correct password credentials and find the phones last recorded position.

Using the same tool YOU can set YOUR own visibility level so others that have your email address can see your location as well if you want.

Make sure you set this to OFF by default
