iPhone as remote to control drops connection when switching apps

Good day,

I used to have an iPhone as a remote control during Keynote presentations. However with the newest version it's no longer an option. I can connect to a Mac and move slides using iPhone but when I switch app on a phone to see my notes then connection is dropped. Before last update connection was stable even though I moved through apps on iPhone during presentation. Now I need to reconnect each and every time app is switched.

I tried to restore my iPhone with backup made prior to Keynote update but it didn't succeeded as Keynote is downloading directly from AppStore, not stored in the backup.

Any chance to have it solved with next Keynote update?

I updated Keynote for iOS this morning to version 10.0, remote control from iPhone and iPad to the Mac is working correctly and continues to do so after switching apps on the iPhone.

two things to note:

1 - when Keynote is updated it is replaced by a new app, the new app does not have the connection settings used previously so you will need to link Keynote iOS to the Mac to establish a connection

2 - when switching back to Keynote on the iPhone after using another app, Keynote will show the following on the display, to continue using remote control, tap the remote control icon top right of screen.
