Question: Reverse engineering audio jack
Hi, I was wondering if it’s possible to input audio into my iPhone 7 through the lightning to 3.5 mm adapter. I was thinking, since I have AirPod Pros, that on flights that don’t have an app that I could plug my phone into the headphone jack by using the 3.5 mm to lightning, then having a cable that has male plugs on both sides. The audio coming in would go into some sort of software, then the software would play audio on the phone. I could then enable my Airpods and voila! Is this possible? I have no idea how to program such an application but I was curious if it was possible. Thanks :)
