Is MacBook Pro late-2013 compatible with LG 4K monitor? 30 hertz to 60 hertz? ...Is word processing text sharp?

Hi,

I think LG 4K monitor doesn't support Thunderbolt 1 or 2 which your MacBook Pro has.

Thanks, I understand that the MacBook Pro late 2013 is capable of running the screen with a thunderbolt 2 > 3 adapter. ...I’m hoping someone who has this set up can advise?
