Question: Muting message notifications from ONE contact who isn’t muted?

I have a contact in my phone (fairly certain I never muted texts/iMessage notifications from) and everytime they text me I don’t receive any notification from them. I checked and they are currently not muted. I have muted/unmuted. Removed contact and deleted my messAge chain with them, as well as blocked and unblocked the contact to try to fix it. Nothing seems to be working. Anybody have same issue?

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 13

I don't have the same issue however would like you to check on something.

Open Messages and to the left of that contact name check to see if you notice a half moon symbol. If you do then you have that contact's alerts hidden. Touch the contact name to DRAG LEFT and SHOW ALERTS will be revealed and you should tap on that.
