No. Locking the table is an all of nothing choice,


If you want that changed, use the Provide Numbers Feedback item in the Numbers menu to make a Feature Enhancement request. Present the reasons that the change would be beneficial to users of the application.


Here, you're talking with users of the software, who can tell you how to work with the software as it currently exists, but who have no control over changing how the software works.
