I’m updated on my iPhone 7 for all apps. Last week the aol app began crashing on deleted messages. Now it crashes upon opening as well. I cleared my cache and did a hard restart on the iPhone.
It may be a problem in the latest AOL app version. But try deleting the AOL app, restarting your phone, and adding it back.
That AOL app may need an update from its developer. Locate the app's support from the app and inform them that the App has been crashing on the deleted items folder etc.

Thanks. It’s doing it on my iPad as well. The app is the latest version and reaching AOL support is impossible unless you pay for it.

Since I have updated to the latest iOS on my iPhone and iPad, the AOL app crashes upon deleting email on both devices. I have deleted the app, rebooted and reinstalled the app and the problem persists. Any suggestions on what else to do? Maybe use another 3rd party mail app?
If I delete the app from each device, will my settings and folders and files be saved?
All AOL content will be deleted, but it will Resync when you add the app and account back.
