Question: Setting up my phone.
I tried to set up my iPhone but every time I connect to internet and then it says, “it may take a few minutes to set up your I phone.” But then tells me it cannot connect to the activation server.

If you are not the owner then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their apple ID.
