Question: How to get keyboard fixed edinburgh
I bought a mabcook pro from pc world in November 2019. The keyboard is very bad and keys jam all the time. With the pandemic going on I wonder how I get checked and possible fixed, or what is the likely timeline for being able to do this. My closest store is edinburgh about an hour away.
Are there mail warrenty checks, is there cost, how does it all work? Usually I might go to the store....
The return key only works with a firm press from a very particular spot. space bar is similar, I've managed to lift keys and clean a few of them, but this only seems to have partial success, and its got to the point that more keys are broken than work. And some barely work at all.
I've bought macbooks all my life and this is the first time I've experienced deep regret. Is it even fixable? The keyboard doesn't look replaceable to me.
Quite annoyed by how poor this keyboard is and the obvious cost cutting motives behind it.
