Question: MacBook Pro 2017 crashing once during start up .

Hi,

Having an issue with my MacBook Pro 2017.

It was entitled to a service under SSD program for Macs sold during June - July of 2018. I got it serviced recently as I had issues booting it up after trying to reinstall Mac OS.

Since then it has been fine however I noticed when I tried to turn it crashed at apple logo around 1/4 way. A kernel panic report comes up - BSD process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task / Etc.

I am in the console looking at the reports however I'm unsure which would be best to upload here.

All is fine using the Mac and if I turned it off now and tried to reboot it would be fine, it seems the issues is when I try to turn it on after 20 / 30 mins after turning it off.

Any help much appreciated.

Hey tinkmac,

I see that you're having some trouble with your Mac restarting unexpectedly.
