It seems that Skype for Business does not request access for the microphone, just for the camera. Does anyone have a solution for this? Tried reinstalling, but once again, only asks for permission for the camera.
This appears to be a known feature of 16.28.175. Microsoft recommends some twisted operations on the TCC.db :(
The better solution appears to be to download 16.28.120 from https://download.microsoft.com/download/D/0/5/D055DA17-C7B8-4257-89A1-78E7BBE3833F/SkypeForBusinessInstaller-16.28.0.120.pkg. Just install over the newer version. As soon as you make a phone call SfB will properly ask for the permissions to access the microphone and life is good again.

I have the same problem since I update to MACOS Catalina. Skype is not requesting the access to microphone only to camera.
I reinstalled the app, but it is the same situation.
Is there any easy fix for this?

I followed your solution and it seems that now Skype requests access to my mic.
I'll try out on Monday to see if it's working now, but looks promising. :)
