Thank you for trying to help! Magic mouse 2 will not work with iPad Pro 13.3 period. I don’t know why Apple would do that! I downloaded 13.4 and then easily pared it. A very frustrating experience and reading various articles, not on any Apple sites did I find I had to go to 13.4.

Magic Mouse support was added with iOS 13.4, they where not supported on iOS 13.3.1.
Update your iPad. Its easy. Settings->General->Software Update

Yes, iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd gen is compatible with Magic Mouse 2, and yes the Magic mouse is a bluetooth.

For the setup, try the following:
It does not work on 13.3 because Apple had not added support to it then. Nobody said it would work with 13.3.
Support is an ongoing process.
One day something is not supported and then with an update it becomes supported.
Not sure what's so frustrating about Apple actually going out of their way and supporting the Magic Mouse with 13.4.
I am now frustrated with Apple products which I was a big fan hmm of!!! Based on your response I purchased and received the Magic Mouse 2 with my IPad Pro version 13.31 and now I read online that Apple does not support this pairing!!! Bad experience. I see in your reply you say 13.4 version! Very disappointed!!!
Can I say your response about me failing to read the response is very rude and frankly punkish.
To clear up why I didn’t UNDERSTAND the response is due to me asking if the mouse supports 3rd generation and the answer was yes. I did not understand at the time what IOS 13.4 referred to. I do now.

I would say consumers generally don’t care for one day it works and another day it doesn’t. Sounds like a developer forgot to include the programming for the mouse in the version of 13.3.
The Magic mouse was not supported in any version of iOS until 13.4. They didn't forget. It was added with 13.4 for the first time.
It did not exist when 13.3 was released. It was being developed.
They can't include something that they have not finished creating.
